INGREDIENTS

rhubarb chutney
steamed pastrami
rye bread
wasabi sauce

RHUBARB CHUTNEY

100g rhubarb
1 red onion
2 tbsp sugar
half tsp cinnamon
half tsp ginger powder
15ml apple vinegar
pinch cayenne pepper

PREPARATION

Rinse the rhubarb, dry it, cut off the edges and dice it. Peel onion and chop into stripes. Put all of the ingridients to the pot and cook it for about 1,5h; Mix it from time to time, until rhubarb pieces dissapear and the chutney thickens.

Tost two slices of bread on a frying pan or in a toster. Smear one of the pieces with wasabi and the other with the rhubarb chutney. Next put your steamed pastrami on one of the slices and voila! Your sandwich is ready! Bon appettit!
